A Message from Cliff Harris

Having lost a loved one to type 1 diabetes (T1D), finding a cure is personal to me.  To manage this disease, people with T1D and insulin dependent type 2 diabetes must monitor their blood sugar and pump or inject insulin throughout the day.  This daily routine continues for life because insulin does not cure T1D.  Breakthrough T1D is the leading global organization funding T1D research.  Amazing progress has been made, but we need more research to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications.  It’s with the generous support of companies and individuals like you, that we’ll be known as the people who cured T1D!
