We are excited to announce our Keynote Speaker – Ryan McCartan! Ryan is an actor and singer who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 6. He is currently starring as Jay Gatsby in The Great Gatsby on Broadway. His other credits include playing Fiyero in the 15th anniversary cast of Wicked and Prince Hans in the closing cast of Frozen. Ryan originated the role of Jason Dean in the original Off-Broadway case of the musical Heathers and has numerous television appearances.
The Breakthrough T1D Luncheon was founded in 2013 and has raised over $1.2 million for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.
