Have you been hearing about the open protocol, artificial pancreas systems that are out there now? It’s a way to hack diabetes devises so that they are able to communicate with each other even if they are not produced by the same manufacturer. This is also known as looping. Breakthrough T1D is a big supporter of this innovative approach to diabetes management. This workshop will be led by CDE Dana Roseman. If you think you may be interested, there is quite a bit of planning, preparation and research that goes into it first. Please see this website to answer some basic questions. If you think you would like to attend the workshop, please RSVP to Tanya at TConovaloff@JDRF.org!
