About the 2027 Real Estate Games

The New York City Real Estate Games returns for its 12th year, bringing together brokers, developers, law firms, engineers, architects, property managers, and other industry professionals for a day of friendly competition benefiting type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. This year, we hope to expand participation across the real estate community to further increase our impact. Held at Chelsea Piers, the Games feature events such as Dodgeball, Rock Climbing, Relay Races, and more, followed by an after-party with food, drinks, music, and networking.

Real Estate Games History

Founded in Washington, DC by Adam Singer, Savills Vice Chairman and Breakthrough T1D International Board Director Emeritus, the Real Estate Games is an annual fundraiser that brings together the commercial real estate industry to support type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. The Games debuted in New York City in 2016. Under the leadership of founder Jim Whelan and the Event Committee, the event has grown significantly, raising nearly $2 million to advance Breakthrough T1D’s mission.
