March 14th is just around the corner, and we cannot wait to welcome you to the Breakthrough T1D Community Summit – Oregon City! From 1:00pm to 4:30pm at Providence Willamette Falls Community Center, join the T1D community to learn from T1D experts, hear about the latest breakthroughs in research, connect with vendor exhibitors, and build meaningful connections with others who understand the T1D journey.

Learn & Connect Through Breakout Sessions
The afternoon will include various breakout sessions, such as a Mindfulness & Compassion with Diabetes Sangha, Round Table Conversations with people who “get it”, and a session dedicated to Advances Beyond Insulin in Type 1 Diabetes & Clinical Trials. Youth programming will also be available for 2nd through 12th graders led by wonderful community members!

We’re also excited to share that Peter G. Jacobs, PhD will be joining us to provide a presentation on “Applications of AI in Diabetes Care: From Islet Transplant Therapies to Automated Drug Delivery and Decision Support”. In this presentation, Dr. Jacobs will go over how his lab, the Artificial Intelligence for Medical Systems (AIMS) lab at Oregon Health & Science University and Oregon State University, is using a artificial intelligence (AI) to design new therapy options for people living with type 1 diabetes!
