Do you want to be a part of a very special Seattle event and help raise awareness for type 1 diabetes at the same time? Gingerbread Village Elves get to do just that! GBV Elves represent Breakthrough T1D and are the “face” of type 1 diabetes for this event. All Elf applicants must be between the ages of 6-18 and have type 1 diabetes.
Each Elf is matched with an architecture team that will be designing and creating the gingerbread houses that decorate the Sheraton Seattle. Elves collaborate with the architects throughout the fall, encouraging, inspiring and helping with the creations until the unveiling on the Monday before Thanksgiving.
