Youth Ambassadors

Pacific Northwest Chapter

We invite you to apply for the Breakthrough T1D Youth Ambassador Program—a volunteer opportunity for youth living with type 1 diabetes (T1D). This program is designed to help children and teens raise awareness of T1D in their communities and grow as leaders.

The Youth Ambassador Program is open to youth entering 2nd through 12th grade and will run from September 2025 through June 2026. Youth Ambassadors will gain confidence in sharing their T1D story, build leadership skills, and connect with peers while supporting the mission of Breakthrough T1D.

If you are interested in participating, please complete and submit the application below by August 17th. Note: The application should be filled out by the Youth Ambassador, with parent support if needed. After all applications have been reviewed, we may reach out with follow-up questions.

If you have any questions, please contact Anna Schuetze at aschuetze@breakthrought1d.org.
