For 24 years the Breakthrough T1D Northwest Chapter and the Sheraton Seattle hotel have partnered on the most beloved Seattle Holiday tradition, The Gingerbread Village. Each year local architecture firms collaborate with the Sheraton Seattle culinary team to custom design, bake, and build awe-inspiring gingerbread displays.

100% of the donations raised at the Gingerbread Village go directly to Breakthrough T1D. Breakthrough T1D’s mission is to fund critically needed research for better treatments for people with diabetes and ultimately for a cure. One of the top rated non-profit organizations in the country, Breakthrough T1D is proud that over 80% of its expenditures go right to its mission.
