The Colorado Springs type 1 diabetes (T1D) community is invited to a fun-filled morning with everyone’s favorite dia-buddy, Rufus, the Bear with Diabetes!
Join us on the morning of Saturday, February 27, where we will offer opportunities to learn more about who Breakthrough T1D is and to connect with other children and families impacted by T1D. Families can enjoy breakfast with Rufus and participate in fun activities with their favorite stuffies, such as friendship-bracelet making, arts and crafts, and health check-ups. Parents and caregivers can also hear a short presentation featuring tips and tricks on how to tackle T1D at school.
When registering, please make sure your RSVP captures each individual guest in your party who will be attending, both children and adults. Children are encouraged to invite their siblings and friends to join them.
We look forward to welcoming you! Don’t forget to bring your Rufus or any of your favorite stuffed animal friends!
