Mark your calendars for October25,2025, as we gather at the Ahmanson Ballroom at the Skirball Cultural Center for an unforgettable evening hosted by Frank Buckley, KTLA Morning News Anchor and proud T1D dad. Prepare to be amazed by the incomparable Justin Willman, creator of Netflix’s The Magic Prank Show and Magic for Humans, as he brings his signature magic to the Gala.

This is more than a night of entertainment—it’s a celebration of T1D resilience and a powerful catalyst for change. Every donation fuels Fund A Cure, our signature initiative that directs 100% of contributions to groundbreaking type 1 diabetes research.

Together, we’ll share magical moments and lasting memories—while driving real medical progress.

Thank You to Our Orange County Golfers!

On Monday June 16th we hosted our annual Breakthrough T1D Fore the Kids Golf Classic at our new location, Monarch Beach Golf Links. We’re thrilled to share that the Fore the Kids Golf Classic raised over $226,000 (and counting!) in support of Breakthrough T1D and our mission to create a world without Type 1 Diabetes!

This incredible milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the passion and leadership of our amazing event co-chairs — Torrey DiRoberto and Jenny Rodriquez. Thank you both for pouring your hearts into this event and helping us bring it to life! The event sold out this year due to the hard work and dedication of the entire event committee.

And to our top sponsors — your generosity helped us elevate every part of the experience, from start to finish. Your support made a powerful impact not only on the course, but for everyone living with T1D.

To every golfer, volunteer, donor, and in-kind supporter — THANK YOU. Your commitment to this cause is driving change and fueling hope.

Stay tuned for the 2026 Fore the Kids Golf Classic Event Date! If you would like to get more involved on the 2026 Event Committee, please reach out to Lauren Christ.

The event will culminate in a cocktail reception with delicious food, networking opportunities, and a chance to connect with the community. By participating, you will be directly supporting life-changing research for Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). We invite you to contribute by becoming a sponsor, donating silent auction items, providing tournament supplies, or simply registering to play. Your generosity will make a lasting impact.

A Special Thanks:
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our Tournament Chairs, Adrienne Cipparone, Brenda Daly, and Matt Tranchina, as well as all the members of the Golf Committee, whose vision, passion, and commitment have made this event possible, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their leadership.
