Join Breakthrough T1D LA for an educational and networking conference for adults and children with type 1 diabetes (T1D), their families, and the clinical/school community to increase understanding, T1D knowledge, share best practices, and communicate with others in the field about the disease. This event is an all-day informational symposium with multiple breakout sessions for individuals, friends and family at all stages and ages of T1D.

The Summit will kick off with a welcome from boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard followed by a keynote presentation by Derek Rapp, President and Chief Executive Officer of Breakthrough T1D whose son Turner, 21, was diagnosed with T1D in 2004.

The day includes sessions specifically designed for elementary, tweens and teens as well as an afternoon skating party. Vendors will be on hand exhibiting all the latest tools for T1D management and wellness.
