Breakthrough T1D along with Community Partner Sansum Diabetes Research Institute will be hosting TypeOneNation at Deckers Outdoor Corporation.  Join the type 1 diabetes community to learn from the experts about T1D technology, therapies, health and wellness.

The day will feature a keynote presentation by Annie Shultz, Project Manager, Outreach & Recruitment TrialNet Hub at the Benaroya Research Institute, who will speak about her experiences as an artificial pancreas trial participant and Breakthrough T1D’s mission.

Following this will be a  Technology Update panel which includes Dr. Bart O. Roep, Chairman of the Department of Diabetes Immunology, Dr. David Kerr, Director of Research and Innovation at Sansum Diabetes Research Institute, Mark Harmel, CDE, MPH, Clinical Research Coordinator at the USC Westside Center for Diabetes and Brandon Arbiter.
