SAVE THE DATE: The 2026 Orange County Beyond A Dream Gala will be held on March 14th at Balboa Bay Resort!

The Breakthrough T1D Orange County Beyond A Dream Gala will bring our incredible Orange County type 1 diabetes (T1D) community together in support of the organization that has contributed more than $2.5 billion to T1D research since its inception in 1970.

Breakthrough T1D works every day to change the reality of this disease for millions of people—and to prevent anyone else from ever knowing it—by funding research; advocating for government support of research and new therapies; ensuring new therapies come to market and are recommended by healthcare providers; and connecting, engaging, and educating the T1D community.

Under the leadership of Co-Chairs Nancy Mienik, Claire Squier, and Mara Wilkie, the Beyond A Dream Gala will take place at the beautiful Balboa Bay Resort and will include hosted cocktails, a three-course dinner, a premier silent and live auction, as well as Fund A Cure where all donations go directly to research. This event will truly be a night to remember, and we hope you’ll join us in making a meaningful impact.
