One Night of Groove and Giving

For 25 years, the Breakthrough T1D San Diego gala has been an annual premiere event bringing people together to celebrate the tenacity and courage displayed by our T1D community, while raising critical funds for T1D research.

Today, as Breakthrough T1D, our mission since our founding in 1970 remains the same: to make T1D a thing of the past by driving research and advocacy to cure, prevent, and better treat the disease.

Please join event chairs Megan Faulkner and Katie Mardikian for a night of groove and giving. The 70’s themed evening will include hosted cocktails, a gourmet three-course dinner, exciting silent and live auctions, our meaningful Fund a Cure program and a live tribute band, featuring music by The Doors.

We hope you will celebrate with us on Saturday, April 26th as we “Break on Through to the Other Side” of type 1 diabetes!

Event Schedule:
• 5:30 p.m.—Registration, Cocktail Hour, Silent Auction, Sweepstakes and Guest Photos
• 7:15 p.m.—Program begins in the Ballroom: Dinner, Live Auction and Fund A Cure
• 9:30 p.m.—Auction Checkout begins/Sweepstakes Winners Announced
• 9:30-11:00 p.m.—Live Music by Wild Child, a Doors tribute band, Dancing, Drinks
