Type One Diabetes is an autoimmune disease. It has nothing to do with diet or lifestyle. Too much insulin is deadly. Too little insulin brings the risk of long-term complications. There are no days off, and there is no cure. We are working to change that.
This year the Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) Fore the Kids Golf Classic is moving to a new venue! Please save the date and join us on Monday, June 16th at Monarch Beach Golf Links. Monarch Beach Golf Links is an intriguing Orange County, CA, layout – one of only a handful of oceanfront golf courses throughout California. The event will include a day of golf at one of Orange County’s finest oceanfront golf courses, followed by a post golf celebration of cocktails, food and fellowship. The evening celebration will also include a short presentation, a live auction, and our annual fund-a-cure supported by our Youth Ambassadors.
