Welcome by Felicia Williams, Pasadena Vice Mayor and diagnosed with T1D in 1992.

Michelle Popoff, Executive Director of Breakthrough T1D’s Southern California Chapter, will update us on what’s happening now and what we can expect in the T1D health and cures space.  Michelle has lived with T1D for 38 years.

If you’re a teen with T1D, this is for you!  Join other teens and learn from our panel of experts — young adults with T1D who’ve been where you are and not that long ago. Bring your questions.  Opportunities to ask them anonymously too.  A T1D medical expert will be on hand to answer any medical questions.

Learn from a panel of experts on how to live well with type 1 diabetes. The discussion will include T1D and school, nutrition, exercise and mental health. This session will all be in Spanish.
