🗣️ Young Adult Advocacy Council (YAAC)
The Young Adult Advocacy Council is a group of young adults—business professionals, community leaders, and engaged students—who actively support Breakthrough T1D’s advocacy priorities, raise awareness of T1D in their communities, and inspire youth to share their stories with key decision-makers.
Members of YAAC take a leadership role in driving meaningful progress toward T1D cures. Advocates have already influenced billions in Federal funding for T1D research, shaped policy decisions, and created real impact for the T1D community. Join to make your voice heard and lead the next wave of change!
All young adults ages 18-28 are eligible to apply September 3 – October 31. The YAAC Leadership Team reviews each application and new members will be announced in January.
