Arkansas families with a child with type 1 diabetes (T1D), or have T1D themselves are invited to attend the Breakthrough T1D Family Diabetes Camp hosted at Camp War Eagle. Adults can attend informative sessions about managing T1D while the kids enjoy fun camp activities! Camp activities will include ziplining, face painting, enjoying yummy snow cones, ropes courses, jumping on the epic blob, crafts, and so much more!
The Breakthrough T1D weekend at Camp War Eagle’s average cost is $32,000 and is offered to Breakthrough T1D families for free.
Over $300,000 of insulin was donated and given to all families at camp last year and that number will increase this year!
