Breakthrough T1D Mississippi is preparing to host the annual Breakthrough T1D One Walk at The Nature Park in Flowood on October 20, 2018. Our goal is to raise funds for critically needed type 1 diabetes (T1D) research, spread awareness of this life threatening disease and bring the community together to foster hope for a cure. The event is expected to attract 1,000+ supporters, including teams representing local businesses, families, schools and other organizations. It is one of approximately 200 Breakthrough T1D One Walks nationwide that bring together hundreds of thousands of people each year who share Breakthrough T1D’s vision to create a world without T1D.
