Mentors are the cornerstone of a strong Outreach Program. The Breakthrough T1D Northwest Arkansas Branch is currently looking for parent mentors, adults with type 1 to mentor newly diagnosed adults, or even grandparent mentors!

At the Mentor Training, we will share resource materials and provide training that will assist you in preparation for you new role as a Breakthrough T1D Mentor.
If you would like to become a mentor but cannot attend the training, that’s okay! Just let Lauren know and she will schedule a time with you to go over all of the training information and materials. We are looking for mentors from all over our Chapter’s service area, and are willing to work with our families in remote areas in any way we can to get them trained as mentors for others in their communities.
