Nashville Promise Gala 2024

We are honored to be co-chairing this year’s gala with our friends Sam and Amy Crosby. Ever since our son Charlie was diagnosed with T1D in 2020 we have done anything and everything we can to help our community get closer to finding a cure. We believe in the mission of Breakthrough T1D and truly believe that there is a cure in Charlie’s future.

Sam and I are honored to be chairing the Breakthrough T1D Gala with our friends, Shelton and Drew Kitchen. We became involved with the Breakthrough T1D after our daughter, CeCe, was diagnosed with T1D at the age of two. Thanks to the efforts and advocacy of the Breakthrough T1D, we are living the benefits of funded research. We look forward to joining you in the ballroom for a night of festivities supporting progress and hope for a cure.

The Goodall family was forever changed in 2014 when their daughter Hillary was diagnosed with T1D, a life-threatening condition making her forever insulin dependent. Today, Hillary has beautiful children of her own, yet the entire family lives with a cloud over them. In December of 2023, Hillary’s son Graham developed a T1D autoantibody, increasing his likelihood of developing T1D. Bob and Karen Goodall continue fervently in their support of the Breakthrough T1D mission, with prevention a priority and a cure for Hillary.
