Hi, I’m Mathis Young, and I’m 9 years old. I’m living with Type 1 Diabetes, which I was diagnosed with when I was 7.

I’m not letting T1D stop me from doing what I love! I’m just as active now as I was before I was diagnosed.

I’m the catcher for my baseball team, and I also play basketball and football. I really enjoy fishing and hanging out with my friends.

There have been so many amazing improvements in how we treat T1D, but we still need a CURE!
