Every year an individual, couple or company is presented with the Breakthrough T1D Northeast Wisconsin Chapter’s prestigious Living and Giving Award. This February, Breakthrough T1D is honored to recognize Ted Galloway for over a decade of exceptional dedication to Breakthrough T1D.

Ted’s involvement began in the early 2000’s with the Breakthrough T1D Ride to Cure Diabetes Program where he has completed 12 rides and was recognized in 2006 as one of the Rides Top Fundraisers. Though Ted has no direct connection to type 1 diabetes he is impressed with the progress of Breakthrough T1D funded research and financial responsibility and commitment Breakthrough T1D provides. He has attended almost every Breakthrough T1D Research Update and has been attending the Gala for as long as we can remember! Ted’s favorite Breakthrough T1D saying is let’s Turn Type One into Type None! He is passionate, dedicated, and a true partner with Breakthrough T1D and the important work Breakthrough T1D is doing.

Ted is currently the Vice President for Galloway Company and General Manager of their solely owned subsidiary Classic Mix Partners. He is proud to be part of the third generation of Galloway’s to lead the family business for the past 37 years. Ted along with his brothers Tim and Pat and cousin’s Tod, and Jeff are active daily with the management of the business. Galloway Company and their subsidiary Classic Mix Partners are diverse processors of complex dairy ingredients. They are the largest manufacture of sweetened condense milk and a leading processor of beverage bases and dairy dessert mixes/bases which are marketed nationally. These ingredients are part of formulas used to manufacture some of the most famous food brands consumed in our country.
