In honor of World Diabetes Day, NBC15 Madison came out to a Madison-area middle school to learn about what life with type 1 diabetes is truly like. Lili Roden, an amazing T1D warrior, was featured in the story. Lili has been a huge part of Breakthrough T1D since she was diagnosed eight years ago. From being the top fundraiser at the Breakthrough T1D One Walk to representing the Breakthrough T1D Western Wisconsin Chapter in Washington D.C. as a 2017 Breakthrough T1D Children’s Congress Delegate, Lili has done it all!
