You—and your fellow walkers—play a critical role in the fight against type 1 diabetes (T1D). By taking part in Breakthrough T1D One Walk, you’re supporting groundbreaking advances that will create a world without T1D.
At the kickoff, we’ll update you on some breakthroughs that Breakthrough T1D is very excited about. You’ll also have a chance to mingle and make new friends in this incredible T1D community including some Breakthrough T1D fundraising superstars who love to share tips to help their fellow walkers!
Our 2017 Breakthrough T1D Youth Ambassador, Maggie Miller, will share her story of living with T1D and local TV personality, Carole Caine will emcee the event as part of our exciting partnership with Super18 & My24!
With your help, we’re making strides toward a future where insulin injections are a thing of the past, people with T1D can sleep soundly through the night, and nobody will ever again deal with the threat of this disease.
