About the partnership
Tops Friendly Markets is the originator of the well-loved Breakthrough T1D Paper Sneaker, created in 1993 to raise money for what was then the Western New York Chapter.
This sneaker became the symbol for Breakthrough T1D Walk and the focus of nationwide campaigns by local and national partners. Collectively, it’s helped raise more than $10 million every year for T1D research!
