Breakthrough T1D is very excited to announce that our organization has been selected to receive a charitable donation for the 2012 Project Dinner Table Community Series.  The purpose of the Project Dinner Table Community Series is to create meaningful and adventurous experiences around the dinner table celebrating local food, community and philanthropy.  There are six dinners throughout this, the third season, and we have been chosen for the first dinner – Saturday, April 14, 5:30 p.m. at the Molasky Corporate Center.   The Chef for our event is James Beard Winner, Chef Michel Richard from Central at Caesars Palace.

Tickets are available through the Project Dinner Table website.  There are a very limited number of seats for each event and they anticipate that seats may go rather quickly this year, especially for the opening event.  If you or your friends and family want to support our event, we encourage you to act quickly.

If you haven’t been to a Project Dinner Table before, you’ll really enjoy the experience.  The PDT Community Series is an untraditional way to infuse donations to local charities, because these events are not the typical fundraising dinners, instead these events are about gathering people around the dinner table, creating a meaningful social experience that feeds their hearts and minds with community spirit, awareness, and a sense of connectedness.
