Breakthrough T1D WALK & The Big Blue Test
As part of the Nevada Chapter’s National Diabetes Awareness Month Campaign, we have partnered with the Hands Foundation to bring diabetes to light by conducting the Big Blue Test on our Walk Day.  What a better way to celebrate National Diabetes Month than to participate in the Walk to Cure Diabetes and do the Big Blue Test?!  Come by the Breakthrough T1D Sneaker Pit to submit your entry.

Walk To Cure Diabetes Registration Information:

The Big Blue Test Works!
In past years, participants in the Big Blue Test saw an average drop of 20% in their glucose levels after 14 minutes of physical activity.

If the benefits you might see to your glucose level aren’t enough, every time that you do the Big Blue Test between now and the end of the day on November 14th, the program sponsor (Roche Diabetes Care, makers of ACCU-CHEK® diabetes products and services) donates $5 to support organizations that help people with diabetes in need.

Help yourself and help others: do the Big Blue Test every day.

Help Us Spread The Word!
To get as many people to participate in the Big Blue Test this year we are recording entries inside the Breakthrough T1D Sneaker Pit.  Stop by this your entire team!  People without diabetes can do it too: they just don’t need to test their blood.
