Volunteer of the Month – Meagan Levitt

The Nevada Chapter Volunteer of the Month program is sponsored by our community partners at Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers. Each month we highlight one of our fabulous chapter volunteers and that volunteer will receive gift cards for free meals from Raising Cane’s.

We are pleased to announce our Raising Canes Volunteer of the Month for March is Meagan Levitt.

Meagan Levitt Breakthrough T1D

Meagan found the Breakthrough T1D Nevada Chapter through the UNLV Student Nutrition and Dietetics Association. Her first volunteer opportunity was at the 2016 Breakthrough T1D One Walk. Meagan was one of the first volunteers to arrive at 6:00 am to help set up for the event.

While her school load keeps her very busy, Meagan is always ready to help the chapter on the days of the big events. Many people probably saw her at the TypeOneNation Summit at the Flamingo Las Vegas as she kept our team of volunteers organized and active on the lower level and helped make sure all the children in the Kids’ Zone were safely in their activity rooms.

Meagan is already signed up to volunteer for our 2017 Breakthrough T1D Hope Gala and take on even more responsibility.

Thank you Meagan for supporting the Breakthrough T1D Nevada Chapter as an outstanding volunteer!
