In the Fall of 2013, the vision now known as The ONE Group was implemented in Atlanta.  The ONE Group is a program designed to honor promising professionals and provide them with educational and networking opportunities.  This unique concept was born out of a desire to increase awareness of cutting-edge research supported by Breakthrough T1D among the local business community. A maximum of 25 professionals are identified through application or by nomination from their peers or businesses and commit to raising $2,500 for type 1 diabetes research.

Because of Atlanta’s inaugural success and continued growth, the program has now expanded into the Savannah market as well. The ONE Group was successfully instituted in Savannah in the Spring of 2015. This Fall, both the Atlanta and Savannah markets will each launch their ONE Group programs, and are accepting nominations and applications now. Please let us know if you or someone you know is interested by downloading either the Atlanta ONE Group Nomination Form or the Savannah ONE Group Nomination Form. We are looking for the best and the brightest within our local communities – spaces are limited!

Both the Atlanta and Savannah ONE Group participants’ achievements will be celebrated during The ONE Party, an evening of delicious cuisine, cocktails, a silent auction, and live music in November. The Atlanta ONE Party will take place on November 9^th at the Stave Room at American Spirit Works and the Savannah ONE Party is set for Friday, November 11^th at the Charles Morris Center. This is the ONE Party you don’t want to miss this Fall!
