Each year, Breakthrough T1D Georgia hosts a day of education for people living with and affected by type 1 diabetes – TypeOneNation Summit. This event includes workshops and real dialogue about T1D: psychological and emotional impact of T1D, transitioning to college, managing teens with T1D, advocating for your child through 504 plans, counting carbs, Diabetes 101 for family and friends, and much more.

The keynote presenter will be Annie Shultz, Project Manager for Outreach & Recruitment for the Diabetes TrialNet network and a participant in the Artificial Pancreas trials.
