Meet Our 2017 Youth Riders!
in Fundraising
The Breakthrough T1D Georgia Chapter is having another awesome year with the Ride to Cure Diabetes program. To date, we have 70 riders registered who are expected to raise $300,000. A huge thank you to all our new and veteran riders for their dedication to turning type one into type none!
On this year’s team, there are 8 individuals we are especially grateful to – our youth riders! Our 2017 youth riders include Blake Schwartz (13), Eliott Gardy (17), Gavin Smith (13), Gianna DiMuzio (14), Grant Alpern (14), Mati Morrow (16), Sarah Schlueter (15) and Varun Devidas (13). Combined, these amazing young men and women will raise over $22,000 for T1D research. We were so inspired by their dedication and passion for the Breakthrough T1D mission that we wanted to share more about why they are riding to cure diabetes this year.
