2018 Ride Season Highlights

The 2018 Ride to Cure Diabetes season is officially a wrap and the Georgia Chapter is celebrating its most successful Ride season to date. This year, 62 riders participated across 5 events, raising over $265,000 and counting. Highlights from the season include both winning the coveted Yellow Jersey for recruiting the most number of new riders and being the #4 top fundraising chapter at the Amelia Island Ride. Thank you to ALL our amazing riders for your dedication to the Breakthrough T1D mission!


Save the Date for the 2019 Ride Season

The Georgia Chapter invites you to get in on the action and register for a 2019 Ride Event! As one of the fastest growing programs within Breakthrough T1D, the Ride isn’t just a bike ride: it’s where individuals of all ages and skill levels come together to make new friendships, experience unparalleled comradery and raise money to find a cure for T1D. With 5 incredible event locations to choose from, including a brand new ride in Sonoma County, CA, the 2019 season is not one you will want to miss! 2019 season key dates are below:

  • Registration Opens January 16th at noon via ride.jdrf.org
  • The Georgia Chapter Ride Season Kickoff Event takes place on Sunday, March 10th
