Lisa and her husband Neil, co-chaired the Breakthrough T1D Israel Initiative, a campaign seeded by their $1 million gift in 2010 to support the Israel Service Foundation-Breakthrough T1D Joint Program. Lisa also served as Co-Chair of Breakthrough T1D’s Leadership Giving Work Group. Lisa parents founded the Breakthrough T1D New Haven Chapter 48 years ago after her brother was diagnosed with T1D in 1970 at the age of 18 months.
