2019 National Volunteer Week

This National Volunteer Week, April 7-13, 2019, Breakthrough T1D celebrates the passion and dedication of our inspiring volunteers! Breakthrough T1D was founded by families and volunteers who wanted to create a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D) and ever since, volunteers have been at the core of everything we do. From our International Board of Directors to the Children’s Congress delegates taking on D.C., this summer, Breakthrough T1D volunteers are making a difference. And thanks to their donations and support, Breakthrough T1D raises, invests and drives more funds to T1D research than any organization in the world. As a result, together, we have played a key role in every major T1D advancement–drug, device, cell research–in the last 40 years–improving lives and bringing us closer to our ultimate goal of a cure.
We are thankful to our more than one million volunteers and supporters–this week and always.
