Matthew Dacey, Board Member
Matthew Dacey is the Chief Marketing Officer of Tripadvisor Group, where he leads global marketing across Tripadvisor and Viator. As a member of the company’s leadership team, he oversees brand, growth, customer acquisition, and marketing strategy for a business serving hundreds of millions of travelers worldwide. Matthew brings more than 20 years of leadership experience driving growth and transformation across consumer technology, retail, and digital businesses, including senior leadership roles at CVS Health, and advising Fortune 500 companies as a strategy consultant. He earned an MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management and a BA in Finance from Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management, where he was recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year. Matthew resides in Massachusetts with his wife, Lisa, and their two children. His son was diagnosed with T1D at the age of 4 and continues to inspire their family with his resilience, strength, and positive spirit.
Bill Matthews, Board Member
Bill, a co-founder of BraddockMatthews, has over two decades of experience in executive search with an expertise in and focus within the private markets. He has extensive experience recruiting senior investment professionals and non-investment professionals (including roles in investor relations, legal, finance, and business development) for some of the foremost private equity firms involved in all stages of principal investing. He also works with a variety of firms that are active in the private equity marketplace, including placement agents, and private equity allocators. Prior to founding BraddockMatthews, Bill spent more than five years as a senior partner at HigdonBraddockMatthews, and four years as a Managing Director at Conley & Company, where he directed the firm’s Alternative Asset search activities. Earlier in his career, he worked for nearly a decade as a lawyer and investment banker in Boston. Bill practiced commercial litigation at several firms, including Goodwin Procter, and worked as an investment banker in the Mergers and Acquisitions practice group at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. He received a BA in History from Yale University and obtained a JD from the University of Wisconsin. Bill lives in Massachusetts with his wife, Sheila, and their four children, two of whom were diagnosed with T1D in July 2010 and August 2019. Bill is one of the organizers of the Cranberry Cup Hockey Tournament on Nantucket, which has raised funds for Breakthrough T1D since 2011, along with the Foundation Fighting Blindness and Asperger/Autism Network.
