Ride for T1D Breakthroughs

Breakthrough T1D Ride, 2026 is taking place at 5 exciting locations throughout the country, or you can ride from anywhere with MyRide. Many Ride Packages are still available, and Rides will take place through December, 2026. Whether you plan to ride 1 mile or 100, claim your spot today!

Thank you to everyone who trained and worked hard to fundraise for the Cape Cod Ride. Although the ride was called off due to unsafe weather conditions in the Northeast, every mile ridden and every dollar raised continues powering research toward cures for T1D. Power Breakthroughs at the Orange County Gala, Honoring Mary and Dick Allen

The Breakthrough T1D Orange County Gala will once again bring together our incredible T1D community for an inspiring and impactful evening.

The special 30th anniversary event will feature hosted cocktails, dinner, exciting live and silent auctions, and our powerful Fund A Cure program, where every donation accelerates life-changing T1D research. We are proud to be honoring Mary and Dick Allen for their numerous contributions to Breakthrough T1D and the incredible impact they’ve made in the T1D community over nearly 30 years.

2027 Children’s Congress Application Now Open!

Breakthrough T1D 2027 Children’s Congress, our 14th biennial event held for youth ages 4-17 living with type 1 diabetes (T1D), will take place in Washington, D.C., June 28 to July 1, 2027. More than 160 youth from across the country and around the world will have the unique and empowering opportunity to meet with Members of Congress and other Federal decision-makers to shine a light on the day-to-day experiences of life with T1D and advance our key issues.

Help us create a world without T1D by speaking up and sharing your personal story in our nation’s capital! If you are interested in participating, you may apply online now through November 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m., HST at cc.BreakthroughT1D.org.
