Douglas J has been a long-time supporter of Breakthrough T1D.  Scott Weaver, President, is adamant about giving back to the community that helped grow his successful business. Though active year round, Douglas J really kicks their fundraising for Breakthrough T1D into high gear in late spring/early summer. This cause is near and dear to the heart of the company, as Weaver’s daughter Sami was diagnosed at the young age of 18 months in 1998. Since then, Douglas J as a company holds a firm commitment as a sponsor for the Breakthrough T1D One Walk in East Lansing, Mich.

Douglas J now has 10 locations, including Aveda Institutes, Aveda Concept Salons and the Aveda Salon & Spa. They offer a complete menu of services in hair design and color, skin care, nail therapy, and massage therapy. Douglas J’s foundation and values remain the same; they consistently focus on delivering guests the high-end experience they deserve.
