Terry Conley, Partner at Grant Thornton and Breakthrough T1D Board Member, along with Andrew Mestdagh, Grant Thornton Corporate Team Captain, celebrated the 2014 Team GT fundraising success by dyeing their hair purple.

Within a few days, the two took their enthusiasm to the next level by shaving their heads as a kickoff to the 2015 Breakthrough T1D One Walk fundraising campaign (photos below)! Team GT raised over $12,000 for the 2014 Breakthrough T1D One Walk – Metro Detroit and has a goal to raise $15,000 this upcoming year.

Congratulations to the Grant Thornton team for kicking off a great 2015 Breakthrough T1D One Walk fundraising season and for continuing to work towards turning Type One into Type None.
