Dear Friends:

Our Chapter had another exceptional year in FY16 (7/1/15 – 6/30/16) raising more than $6.8 million for the Breakthrough T1D mission. Our Walk program raised $2.6 million and Promise Ball raised $1.6 million. We had several six-figure donations …. either outright gifts/pledges or through the Gala Fund A Cure auction and from our generous corporate sponsors. These successes were realized not only by an outstanding volunteer and staff team – but through you – every donor and participant and event attendee. You are integral to accelerating our pace of fundraising so that Breakthrough T1D can have the greatest impact on the largest number of people with type 1 diabetes (T1D) in the shortest amount of time. There are far more research opportunities available than we are currently able to fund. So, while we pause to celebrate the success we realized in the past year, we cannot rest. We will continue to push forward together by raising more funds to support research.
