Breakthrough T1D has made exciting progress this year in our mission of accelerating life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat type 1 diabetes (T1D) and its complications.  The Metro Detroit and Southeast Michigan Chapter has had another stellar year.  The Chapter’s One Walk events raised $2.7 million dollars, the Promise Ball Gala raised $1.6 million, the 5th Annual Fly Away Golf Dream raised over $150,000, Ride to Cure Diabetes and Team Breakthrough T1D Challenge events raised a combined total of over $102,000, and Third Party Events raised a record $243,000!
