Calling all Teens with T1D! Saturday, January 28, 2017
Breakthrough T1D Teen Central – Winter Carnival!
Breakthrough T1D and our Teen Central Planning Committee is proud to announce the 3rd Annual Teen Carnival held
at Wayne County Community College District-Western Campus (WCCCD), Belleville, Michigan on Saturday,
January 28, 2017 from 9:00am-2:00pm. The event starts with carnival games – a chance to see how skillful you
are and win exciting prizes; we then move into a more serious ‘Talk and Share Time’ with our extraordinary
guest moderators, have lunch, and end the day with a special workshop from Dr. Joyce Lee, MD, MPH, Doctor
of Design; University of Michigan.
No cost to attend; online registration is open!

Breakthrough T1D T1D Littles Meet-Up! Saturday, February 11, 2017
For parents/caregivers of children with T1D ages 0-5 and their siblings.
Please join Breakthrough T1D and our volunteers for a morning of fun, networking, and sharing at our annual T1D Littles
group get-together! This year we are meeting at Rochester PLAY! for indoor fun, followed by a light lunch and
time to talk with our special guests and each other!
