Join us in thanking our 2015 Walk Experience Chairs for all of their hard work and dedication to ensure that our 2015 Roanoke Walk will be a success.

Ollie, Margrit, and Kirk became involved with Breakthrough T1D through the Advance Auto Parts corporate walk team where they are employed.

Ollie started volunteering when another Breakthrough T1D volunteer and type 1 diabetic, Jimmy Milam asked him to help on walk day.  From there he recruited Kirk and Margrit. After years of helping with the Walk they finally received the distinction of “Walk Experience Chairs”, which basically means they are Breakthrough T1D One Walk guru’s!
