*URGENT NEED FOR WALK VOLUNTEERS!*

The Breakthrough T1D Walk team is looking for volunteers for this year’s Breakthrough T1D One Walk in Leesburg, VA and Washington, DC! These are great opportunities for the staff to get to know you, while you meet and work with other people in the type 1 community.

Job responsibilities include set up, registration, activities and games, t-shirt tent, food and beverage, route “cheerleaders,” and clean-up. All jobs will involve standing and semi-active physical activity for an extended period of time.

**Please note: these are active events at which volunteers may be required to stand for a number of hours and lift boxes and supplies weighing up to thirty pounds.

• Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age, otherwise accompanied by an adult.
