We are very proud to announce that Trevor Roach, son of Janet Roach our gracious Gala M.C. and Co-Anchor of 13 News Now, has been selected to represent the Hampton Roads Chapter and our congressional district at the Children’s Congress! On July 24-26, 2017, more than 150 children living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) gather in Washington, D.C., for the 10th biennial Children’s Congress. The children, ages 4 to 17, meet face-to-face with some of the top decision-makers in the U.S. government and represent all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
