On behalf of the Breakthrough T1D Greater Blue Ridge Board of Directors and Staff, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all those involved with Breakthrough T1D’s Denim & Diamonds Gala on March 18, 2017.

From our sponsors and guests to our volunteers and contributors, everyone is crucial in realizing our shared goal—to create a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D).

This year’s gala was a great success, as we grossed $337,000 in the effort to drive research across the entire scientific and development spectrum. Nearly 400 guests enjoyed a night of fabulous food, rousing music, and the best silent, super silent and live auctions in town! You are helping us make real progress towards delivering therapies that will change the lives of millions of people affected by T1D.

Next year is the 15th anniversary of our signature Denim & Diamonds Gala, and promises to be our best event yet. Mark your calendars for March 24, 2018, as this event is sure to sell out!
