Counting carbs and checking blood sugar levels has been the normal lifestyle for the McCullough Family since 2007, when at the age of 8, Grace was diagnosed. Just 7 years later, Camryn was diagnosed at the age of 10. In 2007, they received their first Bag of Hope from Breakthrough T1D and visited the Utah Breakthrough T1D team to make a donation. They have been involved ever since! They have participated in countless walks, golf tournaments, bike rides, Children’s Congress trips, bake sales, marathons, fundraising, national Breakthrough T1D meetings, board service, and late-night visits to new T1D families to offer support and encouragement.
