Thank you for joining us at the Breakthrough T1D Dream Gala coming up this Saturday, March 9. We look forward to welcoming you to the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center as we honor seven incredible Women in T1D (click here to read more of their stories)!
This year’s celebration will include the Silent Auction, Dinner, Live Auction, and Fund A Cure followed by music and dancing! Below is information to help you prepare for our favorite day of the year … the Dream Gala.
Day of Event Timeline
Black Tie Optional, Weather Appropriate
5:00 p.m. Registration, Cocktail Reception, Silent Auction, Guest Photos & Entertainment
7:00 p.m. Dinner begins
9:00 p.m. After-party begins
Silent Auction is now open!
All guests will receive a text via your mobile bidding device to participate in the Silent Auction.

What is remote mobile bidding? You will receive a text message inviting you to bid on any Silent Auction packages from your mobile phone. The silent auction is now open, so get your phone ready to place your bids! You will receive informational texts leading up to the event, as well as throughout the day on March 9.
Don’t forget to make sure your smartphone is fully charged when you arrive at the Gala.
Check-In
When you walk into the Hyatt, you will see signs and Hyatt attendants directing you to make your way up the elevator to the Capital Ballroom Foyer. There, you will find check-in along with our auction area and a chance to grab a cocktail and check out our silent auction items.
Guest Parking & Directions
Self-parking at the Tremont Garage, 1 block away from the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center hotel. A map is included below for your review – you can enter this location at 400 15th Street. The entrance to the parking garage is located on the left-hand side of 15th Street (a one-way street) between Tremont Place and Glenarm Place, marked by a grey ‘P’ sign with yellow and red lettering. There will be a Propark attendant at the entrance to give directions on what level to park and directions to the Hyatt hotel. If you provide the valet ticket to Breakthrough T1D staff, they can place a sticker on the ticket and you will receive a discounted parking rate.

Live Auction
Are you looking for a fabulous vacation getaway with your special person?! Or maybe you’re looking for a beautiful, vibrant painting to place in your living room? Are you excited to spend an evening with a 2 leading Breakthrough T1D-funded scientists and clinicians at our “Dinner with a Researcher”? These are just a few of the items in our live auction! Fund A Cure
Fund A Cure is your opportunity to join us and invest in innovative research and accelerate progress that is improving lives and finding cures. When you hear the level at which you wish to make your gift to support T1D research, please raise your bid card until your bid number is called. All Fund A Cure gifts are 100% tax deductible.
