We are grateful to have devoted volunteers who work year round to turn Type One into Type None. We would like to feature our local #EverydayHeroes throughout this week and beyond. It’s an honor to recognize individuals, families and businesses that go above and beyond to serve our local T1D community. Today’s highlight, Kyle Robino.

Kyle, where do we begin?! From serving as 2010 Gala Event Chair with husband, Mike, to beautifully decorating the Gala ballroom year after year through her company Flower Girl, LLC, to providing incredible silent and live auction packages. Kyle’s support is limitless.

Kyle has been involved with Breakthrough T1D for over 10 years since her daughter, Olivia’s, diagnosis. She currently serves as Nominating and Board Development Chair and sits on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. Kyle’s
commitment to curing T1D is unwavering; no task is too small and no ask is too big and for that we are forever grateful.

“I have had the privilege to work alongside Kyle in many aspects. She doesn’t sit on the sidelines in this fight against T1D – but works to propel our mission forward and inspires others to do the same. Thank you, Kyle, for your willingness to share your time and talents with us,” said Laci Naber, Breakthrough T1D Executive Director. Thank you, Kyle!
