Team Greater Iowa would love to have you ride with us this year. Breakthrough T1D Ride to Cure Diabetes is a destination cycling event in one of seven stunning locations across the United States.
Team Greater Iowa has a large presence at the La Crosse, WI ride on Aug. 11-14, but you can attend any ride to help raise funds for the Greater Iowa Chapter. Every year, riders come together to raise critical funds to help Breakthrough T1D find a cure for type 1 diabetes. Breakthrough T1D Ride is more than just a bike ride. It’s an unforgettable weekend-long celebration that leads up to a one-day bike ride where you’ll be surrounded by a passionate T1D community of cyclists, friends and family.
Once you register for the Breakthrough T1D Ride you’ll receive support at every stage. This includes training rides with a USA Cycling-certified coach and tips for fundraising to help you meet your goals. This ride can be as competitive as you make it, you choose the mileage and pace that is comfortable for you. Whatever your skill level, Breakthrough T1D has a ride for you!
